VARIO UG VX 3000 constant power sources, process controllers and wire feeders were installed for the process optimisation of longitudinally welded large steel pipes.
After commissioning, the company achieves the desired cycle time reduction thanks to optimum control of the process parameters and rapid readjustments within 50 microseconds during the welding process.

SPOT WELDING TECHNOLOGY FOR OEMs
The demands on lightweight bodywork are constantly increasing. We responded to this by developing highly efficient spot welding technology in cooperation with Opel. The fully automatically adjusting spot welding machine determines the total thickness of the sheet metal, the energy required for welding and calculates the optimum process sequence.
The plug-and-play system supports pre-series production and post-processing stations at Audi, BMW, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Porsche and Skoda worldwide.
